A lovely breezy day by the beach at the London Dairy Café in La Mer set the scene for our latest mummy meet-up, where new mums and pregnant women savoured a delicious tea party with expert advice and fun activities for kids and parents alike.

Around 80 ladies came for breakfast and high tea at the beautiful beachside venue, which was wonderfully decorated with floral and balloon embellishments in pretty pastel shades from Happy Bubble Balloons. The helpful team at Malaak Mama & Baby Care looked after little ones so the mums had a moment to enjoy the cakes and tea on offer, and listen to the variety of experts there to dispense essential advice and answer any questions.

Throughout the day, the friendly midwives and doctors from King's College Hospital were on hand to chat to expectant mums and gave informal talks on various pregnancy and paediatric-related topics, while the lovely teaching staff from Hartland International School gave the mums insight into the educational paths open to their children in Dubai.

The kids had a great day making friends while doing the arts and crafts activities provided by the school, and were entertained by a funny clown, balloon animals and face painting thanks to Babyshop, while their mums could shop the brand's latest kids' fashion collections for spring/summer and essential newborn accessories.
