With many people choosing to stay in Dubai this summer, parents may be panicking at the idea of a long summer entertaining the children indoors during the hottest months of the year. But there is much to do still. Bridging the gap from distance learning to school come September will certainly be made easier with one of the many summer camps and courses available around the city through the likes of science, sport, mental wellbeing and the arts.
For parents keen to ease the transition back into socialising for children, summer camp can be the perfect bridge. Bringing children back together in small groups, in safely monitored settings will be vital for those children who have missed the interaction of fellow pupils as well as teachers. For many, this will help ease the anxiety of returning into a group setting, as well as prepare them for the discipline of the classroom again. The following camps are running in-person activities throughout July and August, following the required protocols - but as these may change, it's best to double check details directly with each camp.
