1. Watch the fireworks

The star of the highly anticipated fireworks will take place on the first day of Eid at Dubai Festival City at 9pm and 11pm, whilst mesmerising firework displays will light up the sky at The Beach opposite JBR daily from 31 August - 3 September at 8.45pm. The venue will also host roaming performers, a marching band and a pop-up soft play for little ones (opposite Pots N Pans) every day to keep families entertained.

2. Pop into the kid-friendly pop ups at City Walk

From the 1 – 4 September, City Walk will put on an interactive activation from various award-winning leisure and entertainment venues, including The Green Planet, Hub Zero and Mattel Play! Town. These activity stations will include experiences such as live animal showcases, trivia quizzes, craft sessions, face painting booths, old school arcade gaming stations such as Asteroid, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders and much more.

3. Get drenched at Splash ‘n Party’s Eid Carnival

From 1 to 3 September Splash ‘n Party’s Family Fun Day is offering a slew of water-based activities and entertainment, featuring water guns, water balloons, and of course the many slides and splash zones available in the kid-only water park. To get the whole family with lots of FUN!!!

Priced at Dh100 per child, 3pm to 9pm each day, parents are requested to book in advance, as there are limited slots available each day. Splash ‘n’ Party is located in Villa no. 1, Street 8A, Al Safa 2, Jumeirah, Dubai.  

4. Watch circus tricks and comedy at Mercato Mall

Mercato Mall is hosting a ‘Comic Quick Change Show’ over the Eid weekend, which combines family-friendly comedy, quick costume changes, amazing circus techniques and a sprinkling of magic.

5. Music, shows and entertainment at Mall of the Emirates

From September 1 to 8 a whole troupe of entertainers will be delighting littles ones at Mall of the Emirates with a calendar of regular daily shows, featuring everything from acrobatics by Face Team (Sept 1 and 2, 4pm to 9pm) to hip-hop dance troupe Superhoodz (September 2, 6 and 8, and music by the Euphoria Band (September 5). In addition, the mall will be giving away Dh15,000 worth of mall vouchers every day, which you’ll be in for a chance t win if you spend Dh650 or over.

6. Say goodbye to Modhesh

This weekend is the final chance for little ones to say goodbye to the big, yellow cartoon character that dominates Dubai summer, Modhesh at Modhesh World as he leaves on 3 September to return next year. Kids will enjoy virtual reality workshops, an array of performances, various amusement activations and tucking into delicious bites at the food trucks.
